Birds & Bees

My girl was doing her science homework on cells and human body. Being the a bit kiasu mummy, I was a bit worried that she may not be able to catch up on the terminologies. Sat with her and tried my best to explain the body and it's systems.

Explaning briefly the body nervous , digestive, skeletal & respiratory systems were all ok. Then came the reproductive system. There was a diagram of both the male & female reproductive system, complete with all details. Mummy has to explain about the birds & bees, and kids, being too smart for their parents nowadays, do ask questions...and mummy, being the protective one, said that the man will only have permission to put his 'sheshe' into the woman 'petpet' after they are married.

And she asked..'the sheshe' is so small, how to put inside ? I told her, when the husband sees the wife, he will be very happy, and his little 'sheshe' will also grow longer ...(kakaka) ..and she still have to ask, not logic lah..how to grow longer etc etc..

And then she said..'Mom, are you sure you are telling me the truth? You do not have a 'sheshe' woh. I will ask Daddy!'

Wahlau..children so bold nowadays, even dare to ask papa about his 'sheshe'

And the moment Daddy hear daughter is coming with her question, he quickly escaped from her sight, into the room and pretend to be so so busy!
