Was recommended to visit Katiki Point to see the yellow-eyes penguins in their natural habitat.
We spotted 2 penguins on the beach, 1 more near the nest
& seals resting on the rocks
By the time we came out from the viewing hut, night has really set in and it was pitch dark.
Stopped by one of the local restaurant to fill up our tummies. 
Blue Fish Chips & Potatoes - one the speciality here in Oamaru
Today was tiring day as HB has driven 350 km from Fairlie->Mt Cook->Oamaru via H8/83.
Althought it was freezing cold back at our room, it was nice to cuddle up under the many layers of blankets on the soft bed and slept like babies.
