Nothing Much

It's more than a week since I came back from my vacation.

I just love the sun that's always smiling everyday. I can enjoy my days better under the sun, and of course not to mention that I do not need to wear layers and layers of clothings before stepping out of the house. Living near equatorial where we enjoy the warm is definitely a blessing.

I have eaten all (or almost all) the food I miss while away, so most of my cravings are satisfied, but then, there may be some dishes that I have left out. Have to do a 'must-eat' check-list on this. Was wondering why is my pants shrinking, especially at the waist and butt areas, probably the hot sun is the culprit!

I've catched up with most of my office stuff, although it's not that much lah, since I have nice colleagues (overseas ones too) that have helped me to co-ordinate whatever documentations that need to be done while I was away. Always believe that having teamwork in office makes working life easier.

I tried to change my blogskin back to it's original style (the one before X'mas). After poking here and there for the code, I could not really get it back to the original, but what the heck, so long as I still can write crabs (not the shellfish, but complains/grumbles/critism) with it, ok loh.

The house is a bit more quiet nowadays. Must be because my doter is in NS, so there is always an extra empty seat during meal times. Definitely notice there are less word batterings in the house. Meaning that my doter has her own mind/opinion nowadays. I should be glad, but at the same time sad. I think I am already missing her presence, besides a pair of helpful hand during cooking and baking sessions, and of course house keeping time. And yes, no one hoarding the PC in the evenings. I am mentally preparing myself for the day she leaves the nest to start her own life, but still we always wish they are our little girls, to be protected and be kept under our armpits (nope, I do not have BO).

My jr girl has started her Secondary 1. She is finding it a bit difficult mixing around with classmates/schoolmates since there are more Malays and Indians, but she will adjust. It will be good step for her to assimilate into our multi-racial and cultural society.

And one more thing, nowadays I reach office at 9 or sometimes a bit later. Hahaha..nice after 5 years of leaving the house early, it's a blessing to sleep late and drive leisurely to work.

My boss is still travelling frequently, so that will leave me more time to yak and yak nonsense & rubbish..

Welcome to 2010 and good life!

PS: for a title 'NOTHING MUCH', this definitely is not!
